This presentation explored the use of literature as a tool for teaching cultural history and social traditions in Spanish language and literature courses. Focusing on La Celestina and the Salamanca tradition of Lunes de Aguas, the session examined how literary texts can foster cultural understanding, historical awareness, and student engagement in both heritage and second-language learning contexts.
